Weigh in: Week Nineteen

October 10th, 2006

I weighed in this morning at 186.5 pounds, or up 1.5 pounds from two weeks ago. The weight gain is almost meaningless but it does remind me to stay on track, and get back on a schedule.

Last week I didn’t weigh in. I got some emails and IMs from those that asked me why I hadn’t weighed in, simply put, moving takes your normal schedule and flips it the bird.

So here is to getting back on track and joining the gym in November for some results on the muscle-to-fat ratio front. How did you do this week?

    Hi Colin,

As you might know, I had to stop “the diet” in mid-August due to the Renaissance Festival madness which really screwed up my eating habits. I started with you at 225 and I have managed to keep it steady at 215 however. :)

I am going to try and get back on things here this week, so I will probably be in here a little bit more. Glad to hear you have done so well – my goal is to get under 190, and you have already met it! I can’t say I will be playing basketball 2 hours a day, but I’ll have to find other ways.

How long are you going to be losing – I may continue to need some encouragement after you’ve met your goal, if there is still anybody around once you meet it.

Troy: Not only will I still be around and still be posting about how I am maintaining and my progress at the gym, etc – but there are over 100 others that you could tap into for encouragement.

Not everyone on the diet posts to their sites, not everyone on the diet posts to Flickr – but everyone on the diet has a common goal – to be healthy, and that should help everyone to encourage one another to do just that.

    Thanks Colin –

I just moved from MT to WordPress, so I don’t have tags working correctly (whats the best wordpress plugin for technorati tagging?) and I need to re-add the graphics as well. But I’ll be working on it!
