I’ve decided to use all of my skills on a single project. This means making the hard decision to cut all other projects I have going currently and mentally put them in the garbage can. It won’t be easy, but I think it will be worth it. Stay tuned.

Very happy for Eliza and all Eagles fans.

Had an incredible day yesterday visiting the Berwick Brewing Company, O’Donnell Winery, and Three Dogs Vino. It was nice to visit some new-for-us places in our area. Worth the drive.

I usually don’t post to my blog on the weekends. But I want that Micro.blog 30-day pin.

Social media in 2018: Facebook – where we unwittingly share fake articles Snapchat – where we privately video chat w/ squeaky voices Twitter – where we retweet our dislike of "other people" Instagram 🎉 – where we share our best photos, work, motivations, recipes Wonder why IG is winning? 🤔

Today I did some maintenance on my domain name, registrar, hosting provider, and file structure for my site. I still have a few things I’d like to do in preparation for my personal blogging goals in 2018. I think it will be a banner blogging year for me.

I think I will get used to this Pixel 2 XL camera. Very satisfied.

After a little more than a day with Android the thing I miss most is Tweetbot. The Twitter apps are terrible. I now understand why many people don’t see the value of a microblogging social network. Tweetbot is likely the only reason I can still use Twitter.
-
After over 10 years on iOS I’ve switched to Android on the Pixel 2 XL. So far an excellent experience.
-
Seriously considering a move to the Pixel. But what would I do with my Apple Watch? And how does one live without Tweetbot?

Finished Contact by Carl Sagan in audio book narrated by Jodie Foster. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was excellent. I love the movie but it makes me wish for the π part in the book to have been in the movie.
-
I had gotten out of the habit of watching YouTube videos on my TV. Believe it or not, the Apple Watch has reinvigorated this habit since I can control it from my wrist. Didn’t think of that.
-
Just watched Space X’s presentation about the BFR. What an incredible presentation! The timeline seems impossible but I’ve given up doubting Musk a long, long time ago.
-
My second day with the Apple Watch Series 3 was a full-day of use, travel, driving directions, notifications, activity monitoring, and Siri and I ended the day with 78% battery life.
-
I used my Apple Watch Series 3 extensively all day. Just plugged it in for the night with 48% battery remaining. This works.
-
Many are sweating over a notch on a phone while Space X is making trips to Earth’s orbit routine.

I’ve been using Apple Music today. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is far, far better than when I tried it when it was released.

If you were 39,000,000 miles away from earth and the earth was covered in white clouds it would look like what Venus looks like right now.

Auto mechanics should serve motor oil in their lobbies. It’d be much better than the "coffee" they serve.
-
Duolingo’s email reminders should be in the language you’re learning, no?

In 20 years that which we call AI today will be considered an egregious misnomer. We are comparatively in the melainotype phase of what AI will become.

I wish Instagram and Twitter would make up already. It’s been years. Maybe @kcoleman can facilitate that.
