A wordpress.com ultimatum
If I can’t edit my theme on WordPress.com before March 1st. I’m leaving WordPress.com. Oh, and if they charge only a few dollars to allow me to do that, I’d probably consider…

Don’t make stupid bets
I love learning from other’s mistakes. Typically I watch poker, perhaps not only for the entertainment of it, but it helps me to gauge how the professionals determine pot odds and act…
Hyperspace membership has expired
I realize that the Star Wars universe will end up living on through television, rereleased special edition DVD sets, cartoons, and probably some things I haven’t even thought of yet. But really,…
A concerted effort to get back outdoors
When I was younger, you’d never find me indoors. My parents were constantly yelling my name to come in and eat, many times I was well out of earshot. For most of…
Getting up early, or staying up late?
I love being up early. I find myself, even if I’ve gone to bed late the night before, getting up as early as my body will allow. Morning coffee while reading my…

To .Mac or not to .Mac, that is the question
Recent announcements notwithstanding, has anyone used .Mac that could perhaps let me know if they feel the service is worth the yearly fee? Further, if you are married, do you have one…

This Uncle loves video chat
The latest edition to our family, Jessica Corinne, lives about 1,200 miles from Eliza and I. This is a real bummer because we wish to see her as soon as possible. Well,…

Mondays only suck if you don’t like where you work or what you do
I don’t think a Monday has sucked for me in almost 2 1/2 years. It's not that I favor Mondays, but I definitely do not dread them like much of the world….
Please move the smoking section farther from the non-smoking section
A law should be created to have a exact amount of separation and ventilation between the smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants. If this law does exist, it should be enforced. If…

Since I’m working very hard at the end of this year to wrap up a few projects to get them out on or shortly after the New Year. This process makes it…
Nothing like a pounding headache to ruin your weekend
My headache began on Thursday. I was able to work through it by popping some pills. Friday came and I spent a good portion of it “on the phone” (I use that…
I eat way too fast
Eating is supposed to be enjoyable, yet I rush. No idea why. I think growing up the last of six has something to do with it though.
