This Tumblog is making the rounds; After iOS 7 icons. Essentially it is a gallery of app icons showing what they looked like before and after their iOS 7 updates.
I know many have said that the aesthetic of iOS 7 is stripping the personality of apps and they may be right. But I think what we’ll end up seeing over time is a much cleaner, more approachable, and certainly less "chunky" design for all applications.
I like apps to have personality but I don’t need apps to have personality. I’d much rather apps that are valuable, easy-to-use, and fast. In that order. And I think iOS 7, after a few more iterations, will bring exactly that.
Still fun to look at.
