Weigh in: Week Seventeen

Not too much to tell with this weigh in. This past weekend we went down to Hershey and actually went to the park. Ice cream, chocolate, ham burgers, french fries, beer, and hoagies (or subs as some of us classify them) contributed to me not losing any weight, but I didn’t gain any either.

I wasn’t trying to lose any weight this week, and I am not sure that I will actively try to lose much more weight - as I just want to decrease my overall body fat.

Something else I wanted to mention was that there are a lot of people that actually want to start a diet and yet haven’t yet. To those people I tell you, after the first few days of dieting you will regret not having started your diet earlier. When is the perfect time to start your diet? Yesterday! You will be really really happy that you did.

I have really got to jump on this bandwagon and join your diet. You guys will be done before I even start.

Zach, I highly doubt that. I just started going hardcore this week, even though I’ve “been on” the diet for the same amount as Colin and the other guys. These guys aren’t going to stop dieting, they may stop losing weight, but staying healthy will continue even after the weight loss stops…. SO JOIN UP!

Zach: Now is as good as any a time to start. Many of those on the diet list have either a long way to go, or have just begun their diets. So you will not be alone, for sure.

I’m living proof that anyone can succeed if they just put forth the effort and stay truthful to themselves and others.

51lbs lost and 8 1/2 inches off my waist. That is success!

Join the diet now, gain yourself back!

Great job maintaining Colin! Watch those park foods, they can be deadly!

Colin: Too much stuff going on, no need to worry about the diet as much when all that other stuff is happening.

Zach: Yep, we’ll all be done and you’ll just be on the diet all by yourself. Better get started mister. ;^)

[...] I weighed in this morning at 186.5 pounds, or up 1.5 pounds from two weeks ago. The weight gain is almost meaningless but it does remind me to stay on track, and get back on a schedule. [...]
