I’m not a big fan of mud. In fact, I think its the only thing I actually hate about spring time. The thaw brings moisture to the ground, that has been there the entire winter, just waiting to be released. Beautiful growth begins to happen within all plants and animals during this time of year, yet on the ground there is mud.
Upon scrutiny though, we could definitely say that we (humans that is), are responsible for this mud. Naturally occurring mud, at least in my part of the planet, is seldom seen. The only mud that makes me angry is the mud in the driveway, or in paths often traveled. Cars, trucks, and the stomping of overweight human feet (mine included) seem to be the cause of the mud.
Mud aside, yesterday’s weather was just a glimpse of the spring we’re to have. I hope to see many more days like that in the near future. I’ll just ignore the mud.
