JJ Abrams has robbed me of a significant portion of my life, and it is only going to get worse

JJ Abrams, creator of Alias and most-recently LOST, has stolen a considerable portion of my life away. I was never a fan of Alias, though I know many people out there are and I did catch an episode or two that I found enjoyable. However, LOST has me wrapped up so tightly that I often find myself wondering where time has gone.

There are several incredibly good resources out there on theories based on LOST, screenshots, rumors, detailed maps, reversed audio clips (reminiscent of the Beatles albums), and various other goodies that you can spend hours reading, watching, and listening to.

Not only that, but I could literally rewatch the entire LOST series after reading some of the theories I’ve heard. Often times, being that there is such large time gaps between new episodes, I find myself forgetting small tidbits that I should probably try harder to remember. This leads me to want to dive even deeper into the theories themselves so as to get a better grasp of the “big picture” of what is going on in LOST.

See, I’ve done it again. I’m spending time away from other things thinking about LOST. I can’t wait for the Season 7 series finale, so I can get back to my regular life.

And that’s why I prefer to watch 24 on DVD only. I have to wait longer but I can watch it all at once and rewind bit’s I missed. LOST is slowly becoming that way for me as well, with the excpetion of watching it on TV as well.

    I’m with you Colin.

And Mike, did you know Kim dies in season 5?

Josue, thanks! hehe, mike deserves it ;-)

And on a sidenote, I can not stand either Alias or Lost or even 24. I don’t understand why people are so obsessive about them.

Jake: I’m not a big 24 fan. In fact, I’m close to despising it.

My brother watches 24 and I’m not a fan of 24. My mother watches Lost and I’m not a fan of lost. What do I like to watch? I usually like to watch seasonal anime like Mushishi.

I don’t believe it. While studiosuly avoiding an essay, having already tweaked my WP installation yet again, I went searching for Lost information, predictions, philosophical debates etc. Decided JJ Abrams has a LOT to answer for…and then found your post. Haha.
    A fellow Lost addict.
