Just out of curiosity: is there an accepted amount of business that a person is expected to give to a place like Panera in exchange for letting that person work there all day and use the free Wi-Fi? I see a lot of people doing work from places like Panera and I’ve always wondered.

Chris Clark: If you read the TOS, which you see before you can connect to the Internet, it actually says you can stay as long as you’d like. And, if it gets busy, they suggest getting up to let other people sit down.
I have never been asked to leave, buy anything, etc.

Cool. Like I said, just wondering. I’ve never actually connected from there myself.
