Inspiration
Inspiration can come in many forms, and spur you to do many different things. Being that I have multiple drives, I can be inspired by a wide-range of persons, sights, feelings, and “things”.
Today I wrote about a theory I have that all feeds can be defined using one unique definition, all while not speaking [...]

Eliza caught me hard at work
Ok, so technically what I do is not “hard workâ€, but it looks like I’m really thinking here.
Side note: I’d like an easier way in WordPress 2.0 (or wordpress.com) to link to the larger version of the image that you’ve attached to the post. As it stands I have to view the raw [...]

I need to learn a new language
Not a programming language, I’ve got those covered for now, but a spoken language of the tongue.
I tried my hand at Dutch, since my family comes from The Netherlands, but I just couldn’t stick with it long enough for it to take.
I feel totally ignorant to the World around me – which makes me feel [...]

Mondays only suck if you don’t like where you work or what you do
I don’t think a Monday has sucked for me in almost 2 1/2 years. Its not that I favor Mondays, but I definitely do not dread them like much of the World. For that, I’m very grateful.

Please move the smoking section farther from the non-smoking section
A law should be created to have a exact amount of separation and ventilation between the smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants.
If this law does exist, it should be enforced. If its being enforced, it should be enforced in such a way to bring great penalties to those not abiding by it.
If you are [...]

I’m too busy at work to think of anything other than work and I don’t want to write about work
Since I’m working very hard at the end of this year to wrap up a few projects to get them out on or shortly after the New Year. This process makes it almost impossible to think of much else, which leaves my writing constrained to topics that I don’t enjoy writing about.
There are literally [...]

Nothing like a pounding headache to ruin your weekend
My headache began on Thursday. I was able to work through it by popping some pills. Friday came and I spent a good portion of it “on the phone” (I use that term loosely due to the fact that I was using Skype and iChat), which made my headache even worse I think. [...]

I eat way too fast
Eating is supposed to be enjoyable, yet I rush. No idea why. I think growing up the last of six has something to do with it though.

Is it summer yet?
When we got back from watching King Kong early Wednesday morning (about 4:30am or so), it was -14 degrees fahrenheit. Each day’s temperature has been hovering under 20 degrees.
I know my personal log is becoming a “weather blog”, but seriously, is it summer yet?

Our trip to the Outer Banks
Back in March 2002 my parents moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. Eliza and I drove down to help them unload the truck and get settled in. After we spent a day or so at my parent’s new place, we headed over to the shore near the Outer Banks to take a look [...]
I miss the really great snowball fights of my childhood
Today, while waiting for the car to warm up, I played around in the snow a little. Eliza was coming out to get into the car, and I promptly struck her with a well formed snow ball at high velocity.
It was great. Sorry babe.
As we drove, after the incident, I got to [...]

Test post from Flock
I’ve downloaded the latest version of Flock, so I thought I’d test out the blogging feature.
EDIT: Posting from within Flock is very close to what it should be. Obliviously as a beta, its almost featureless, but from an ease of use and structure stand point, its got tons of potential. I’ll be writing [...]

I love Macworld magazine
Thats all, I just love it. They recently won an award over PC Mag (can’t remember the name of the award), but they deserve it. High quality, every time.

Picking a favorite movie is probably like picking your favorite child
Sure, I can rattle off my top ten favorite movies without consulting a list, but to get down to just one is really tough.
Am I the only one with this difficulty? Or can you name your favorite movie with relative ease?

Sleeping in is bittersweet
There isn’t much that I enjoy more than sleeping in on the weekend, though it has its drawbacks. During this time of the year, it gets dark at around 5pm EST. Today, I woke up at 2, and before I knew it, it was getting dark.
Edit: I’m now going to bed at 5am. [...]

OH the weather outside is frightful
But I am so delightful. I’m not really sure why, but I’m in a good mood.
Its snowing, cold and my cats left me this to clean up this morning.
Yet, I’m in a good mood. Score one for Friday!

Panera Bread fills a very large void
I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Its a choice that comes with many drawbacks, as well as many advantages, much like any other geographical location on the Planet.
Some of the main advantages include cost of living, diverse and beautiful terrain, seasonal changes, and being relatively close to large cities like Philadelphia and New York City.
Some [...]
