Somewhere in China on watercolor – 1987 and 2022
In 1987 my grandparents traveled throughout China and other locations in the South Pacific. At some point along their journey my grandmother took a photo of the landscape. Ever since I saw the 4×6 glossy photograph I knew I wanted to paint it.
The watercolor sketch that I created was made over a few mornings in April 2022.
