The cherry tomato technique

As you all know, I’m a big fan of a the Pomodoro Technique. Recently, while catching up on my backlog of Jack Cheng’s excellent Sunday series, I came across a snippet in Sunday #434 regarding an interview Cheng did with author Linda Sue Park. In that interview, she mentions whittling away at the Pomodoro Technique until she ended up at 12-minutes… which works for her.

Jack told (a friend?) A.W. who coined the term the Cherry Tomato Technique. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ…

So if you don’t have time for the full pomodoro, go cherry.

Side note re: Cheng’s Sunday series; I only recently discovered Jack Cheng’s Sunday series and I really love his format. It is similar to how I write Diversions – my series of posts that I really wish I wrote more of. So, perhaps I’ll combine Linda Sue Park’s method of productive writing with my desire to get my own series of posts out more often.
