I’m looking forward to using the updated Apple Music app in macOS 12.2. I’ll likely update today.
@cdevroe Some parts of the Apple Music streaming experience are much faster! Excellent. I hope they swap out all of the app for this native workflow.
I am confused. I updated to 12.2 yesterday and am not noticing anything different about the Music app. Other than the copyright says 2019-2021 ;)
Are any of the changes visual or are they just a new engine(?)?
My music apps says version 1.2.2.40
I believe the aesthetic changes are minimal. Though, a keep eye for native UI can tell a difference. Looking through Apple Music, and particularly searching, should be much much faster.
Looks like it is all under the hood. Still funny that the copyright date is wrong.
