Told ya. You can say you heard about Chia here first. That said, I think this is going to be the first of many. Listening to Vitalik, the creator of Ethereum – which is used for NFTs due to its programmable blockchain – and he commented on many updates coming with the next version that addresses many of the energy waste concerns that have been talked about lately.
Side note: Listening to any “blockchain bro” conversations can be incredibly heady, nerdy, and, well, boring. They are buzzword laden and typically sound like a bunch of incredibly rich people talking about things that just don’t concern so many of us. However, I do think there are many topics that are good to thoroughly understand going forward and blockchain, crypto, and decentralized computing technologies fall into that category for me.
