Lately Twitter’s Trending topics have been full of nearly worthless junk and people asking "Why is ______ trending?". I hope that their removal from the home page is both temporary and evidence that they’re trying to address the problems related to that.
Update: 8:13am EST: And they are back.
Update 10:20 am EST: Twitter.com, and its API, are completely down. Interesting.
