What I saw somewhat recently #65 – July 28, 2020

  • Papyrus SNL – This skit recently came back to memory during a meeting at work.
  • KEKS Lightmeter – I have a few cameras that I need to use my iPhone to meter light with. I think I’ll be ordering one of these.
  • WindowSwap – See the view’s of others from all over the world.
  • Gigaleak – What a smorgasbord for gamers!
  • If birds had arms… – 🙂
  • 8×10 My First Exposure – Jason Kummerfeldt’s parody about large format photography. Pretty on point.

Nintendo Labo

Nintendo Labo combines the magic of Nintendo Switch with the fun of DIY creations.

I don’t play any games. I know, I’m boring. But I soaked up countless nights and weekends in my early 20s playing first-person shooters and I can’t get any of that time back. So I choose not to play any games. Which is why I don’t mention games on my blog often. But this set of cardboard extensions for the Switch look absolutely amazing.

The irony is, anyone could have made these for the Switch. And, likely, with this spark, more people will make their own.

The more I see of Switch the more I want to come out of retirement.
