       I believe it’s base-board. I don’t think it’s hot water base board though, it can get very dry.

   My apt is heated by steam, which is powered by natural gas. Don’t let anyone tell you pre-war NYC apts are romantic. They’re hot and stuffy and you have to keep your windows open all winter.

       I would actually prefer a huge hearth with a roaring fire and a spit for roasting.
