I’ve never had caffeine-free coffee, but a lot of people I know make 50/50 coffee later in the day and at night. I don’t drink coffee too much at night….

Aloha Colin!

I am a coffeeholic from way back! Used to drink it black, so I relate to your comments on tasting the full flavor of the bean!

Now I drink primarily KONA coffee! It’s grown on the Big Island only. Rich, Smooth, Strong, yet sweet! I drink so much of it that I usually add a dash of milk to make it a bit creamy. Doesn’t need sugar.

Did you know that coffee is a great source of several antioxidants? Yup, coffee is good for you!

Studies show if you’re over 40 (so this doesn’t apply to you =) Drinking a cup of coffee is more effective to stay alert than taking a nap!

Okay… I’m preaching to the chior! Coffee! Now try KONA… a bit more costly but worth every sip!

I’m a bit of a Coffee snob. I have to have it French Pressed, with 1 part soy creamer to 5 parts coffee; to which I generally add one t-spoon of raw sugar. I can’t stand Starbucks.

Though I’ve had espresso on occasion – I’m far from a connoisseur. I plan on trying more. The selection around here, like the Fort Lauderdale area it seems, isn’t very vast. So I’ll have to hit up Starbucks as well.

I’m half-English, so most of the time I drink tea at home (English Breakfast tea + whole milk + raw sugar = mmmm), but I drink coffee when I’m out, and the last few years espresso is my drug of choice.

I used to drink coffee (mostly Dunken Donuts, they were closest), but got to the point a few years ago where I couldn’t drink regular coffee (with cream + sugar) without feeling ill. So I switched to espressoÂ â€” Starbucks to start â€” and haven’t looked back.

I’ll have a latte on occasion, but my mainstay is a triple espresso, sometimes with 2 raw sugars. This week in Austin, I discovered the Halcyon cafe, and its espresso was so incredibly dream-like that I wish I could have it every day. Much thicker than Starbucks, and smoother/tastier too. Unfortunately, Starbucks has the best espresso I’ve been able to find in South Florida, so I’ll keep sticking to my corporate habit for now

I rarely drink coffee. But when I do it really depends on the time of day, if I am drinking it in the morning I prefer it to be black, if I’m drinking it in the afternoon-night I prefer it to be sweet and add a lot of sugar/cream.

Lance: Nice to hear from an “expert”! I wouldn’t say that the ONLY way to drink it is black, I think people should make their own choices. But, I think trying coffee black is something everyone should do.

I’m a bit of a coffee snob. I manage a small local cafe here in mid-Michigan (www.brewtopiacoffee.com). If it is brewed coffee the only way to drink it is black. On the espresso end I usually drink a small double shot latte with skim or a macchiato (traditional, not the Starbucks stuff).

In the immortal words of the Beastie Boys: “I like my sugar with coffee and cream!”

I’m a relatively new coffee drinker, so I tend to flavor it up a bit. But let me emphasize a BIT.

Initially, I was one of those people that candied up the cup, but I find that the more I drink, the less additives I want. I’m not quite to the “give it to me black and strong” stage yet, but who knows, I may be there soon.

There are a few good coffee shops around the Phx that I like to go to, but my favorite is just sitting at home with my fiance and enjoying a pot of coffee together. Nothing better than that.

I love my coffee black…no need or desire to mask the flavor of a great brew. I get my coffee from Ithaca Coffee Company (http://www.ithacacoffee.com), they offer some great blends and have a great cafe right on Six-Mile Creek in Ithaca, NY.
