Wheaton, Grunberg, and Obama – in a comic

December 5th, 2008

As a follow up to some of the hijinks on Twitter between Heroes star Greg Grunberg and writer/actor Wil Wheaton, that I wrote about the other day, here is an interesting comic from – well, Hijinks Ensue.

Comic: Wheaton, Grunberg, Obama

This comic shows them all on Macintoshes – which may only be partly accurate. I know that Obama has a Macintosh, Grunberg updates Twitter using Twitterrifc (either on an iPhone or his computer, I don’t know which because it seems like Greg uses the Twitter Web site quite a bit too), but I believe that Wheaton is a Linux guy.

Wil Wheaton asked to star on Heroes via Twitter

December 2nd, 2008

Wil Wheaton, geek, actor, writer, etc. etc., was asked by Greg Grunberg, the actor that plays Matt Parkman on Heroes, to star in an upcoming episode of Heroes in a cameo role.

Last night Eliza and I watched the latest episode of Heroes that starred both Seth Green and Breckin Meyer as cameos (perhaps there were others?). So it is little surprise that they’d ask the Star Trek – The Next Generation star to do a cameo role at some point as well.

The surprising part was that it was done via Twitter. Awesome.  More information is available on Wil Wheaton’s blog post.
