		<title>Weigh in: Week Twelve</title>

		<description><![CDATA[And another few pounds bite the dust.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><em>Twelve weeks!</em></strong> It seems like only yesterday that I began my diet.  Actually, I thought for sure that I would end up quitting before reaching any of my goals.  I guess I showed myself!</p>
<p><a href="http://cdevroe.com/diet/first-weigh-in/">On May 30th</a> I set the goal to be 190 pounds. As of <a href="http://cdevroe.com/diet/weigh-in-week-eleven/">last week</a> I was 194.4 pounds.  This week <strong>I&#8217;m 192.2 pounds</strong>.  A healthy loss of 2.2 pounds, and edging ever-closer to my original goal.</p>
<p>According to most charts I&#8217;ve been able to find, a man of my height (between 6&#8217;1&#8243; and 6&#8217;2&#8243; depending on how big my hair is) should weigh 188 pounds or less.  From that perspective I suppose you could say that I&#8217;m four pounds away from being in the &#8220;healthy&#8221; range, rather than being in the overweight or flirting with the obese category.  However, I will most likely need to lose about 10-15 more pounds of fat, and increase my muscle by a few pounds.  I&#8217;m looking forward to &#8220;completing&#8221; the journey soon, and then maintaining my goals and my drive towards other goals I&#8217;ve set for myself.  What goals you ask?  Well <a href="http://cdevroe.com/notes/1mile/">one you already know about</a>, but I have a few others up my sleeve that I&#8217;ll be setting soon.</p>
