Brightkite, in their infinite generosity, sent me a few stickers that I could give away here on my site.  When I got them in the mail yesterday I immediately began to think of a fun way to give them away, and I think I’ve come up with an easy and fun way.

And I think I can find some Viddler tshirts laying around to give away with the stickers.  These people seem to like them, so maybe you will too!

How to “win” a Brightkite sticker and a Viddler tshirt!

Let’s keep this simple, shall we?

1. Create a Viddler account.
2. Friend me on Viddler!
3. Leave a video comment on this post stating about why you’d like a sticker and a tshirt ((Bonus points if you show where you’d put the sticker. Keep it clean.)).

Pretty simple.  If you have a Brightkite account already, friend me up there as well, but if you don’t your sticker will also come with an invite.

There will be 8 winners!  I will select the winners based on the video.  If you don’t have a video camera attached to your computer, you can upload a video to Viddler first and then select it using the Viddler WordPress plugin (just click the link by the comment box and you should be able to figure out the rest).

You can put in entries until tomorrow at noon.

Update: Rob has some Viddler stickers so we’re going to add those to the mix as well!

We’ve used iron-ons in the past, for the Star Wars prequel premiers, so we had some laying around (yes, from that long ago!).  Here is my tshirt design that I quickly did in Adobe Illustrator.  If you like it, you may download it here.

Eliza really likes the “Why So Serious” campaign that they’ve done for The Dark Knight. So her tshirt is made from the top portion of the poster from it.

We’re really excited, especially based on all of the good reviews and press this movie has gotten, to see The Dark Knight tonight.  Are you going?

It is a question that has been passed down from generation-to-generation. Scholars and philosophers have lost sleep, blood, sweat, and tears to find the answer but have been as yet unsuccessful.

Until now.

My friend Austin Baker has setup a site where the people can vote on this issue. We can’t just leave something this important up to “the powers that be”. We all need to make this decision ourselves. So go vote now.

For the record: I voted yes. Here is the reason I gave via the site:

I think everyone should be able to breathe underwater! Why should this privilege only be limited to the animals that normally live in water? Shouldn’t we all have choice? If you don’t think cows should drink underwater – I have a simple question: Why?

I submitted this reason in haste and so I think I’ll take the opportunity to rewrite it here.

I do indeed think everyone should be able to breathe underwater. This stems from my desire to do so. Imagine being able to explore ‘the other 70% of this Earth’ without needing to be tied down with heavy breathing apparatus? I do not feel this privilege should be limited to marine life. And, what I meant to ask was – if you don’t think cows should be able to breathe (not drink) underwater I have a question for you; Why not?

Another example of why I should slow down and proofread. Ugh. Ok, now that I’ve rambled long enough I think it is time for you to chime in!
