How to: Swap events and projects in iMovie

I’ve been messing around in iMovie recently and a few of the video tutorials I ran across confused me because they showed the events viewer on top of the projects stage. This allowed for a much, much larger editing stage than the default iMovie view. Turns out this is very simple to do.

To swaps the events viewer and project stage simply click on Window > Swap Events and Projects. I never knew it was there. Hope this helps!

Upon my return from the New Media Expo in Las Vegas I said that I regretted not mentioning that I was going to the event beforehand. So I thought I’d look at the next few months of activities and jot them down here.

In October Eliza and I will be heading to Oahu, Hawaii for a Social Media Summit in Waikiki. Shortly after that we’ll be attending both Podcamp Hawaii and Wordcamp Hawaii.

I don’t think it needs to be said that we’re both looking forward to attending these events.

In November, shortly after our return, I’ll be heading to New York City for Carsonified‘s Future of Web Design conference. I will have some exciting things to talk to developers about, regarding Viddler‘s new Developer Partner Program, and I think FOWD is the perfect venue for these discussions.

Philadelphia Weblogger Meetup – March 17th

This Saturday (March 17th from 2:00pm till about 5pm) I’ll be attending the Philadelphia Webloggers Meetup at Ten Stone Bar & Restaurant. Will you be there?

It looks like Tony Green and I will be having a conversation so please be sure to join in as we discuss Microformats (which I’ve used to markup this post by the way).

I was finally able to pull Alex Hillman out of his shell. He was recently interviewed by Philadelphia Weekly about his efforts in CoWorking. You may want to pick his brain about this…

I just hope this snow doesn’t affect our plans. Though I think we’re pretty determined.
