I am finishing up a research paper on the evolution and demise of amusement parks in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Hersheypark was one of the parks of study. I'm from that area originally and miss the park. I plan to rectify that by celebrating the completion of this project by going to the park for the day. I'll remember the backpack and the cheap food. I never got to go. Joe [my hubby] got to go once when the military sent him on a business trip to Pennsylvania. He brought me back a big ol' chocolate bar and he bought a hershey's syrup bottle that lasted FOREVER! I bearly finished it a few months ago! haha. It traveled all the way from MD, to TX with us on our move. Joe said he enjoyed it too. No pictures though. Glad you had fun. Maybe I'll get to go some day.
