Philippe: I hadn’t really thought of doing that. Hmm. I will have to try it when I’m away from home. Perhaps later today I’ll have that opportunity. I’m wondering though, if that functionality would drain the iPhone’s battery, or – if I would have to somehow keep the iPhone from sleeping.

Colin, could you test the iPhone using only as a bluetooth modem with your Macbook ? (Using Internet Connect.app) When pairing your iPhone you should see something like that :
