My clothes and dishes are enchanted

I’ve never been one to buy designer clothing. To be honest, I’ve never been able to afford really nice clothing, just your average ‘run-of-the-mall’ type stuff. Though I would never complain about this fact, I never considered my clothing special.

Likewise for my dishes. Eliza and I really like our dishes, our silverware and our pots and pans.

But I’ve come to realize, that even though my clothes nor my dishes were all the expensive they are, indeed, enchanted.

Every morning that I wake up, all of the dishes are cleaned and either in the strainer or put away. I’ve never gotten used to it!

Like every good boy, I put my clothes in the hamper when they get dirty (usually after like 5 consecutive days of coding in 1 pair of underwear). To my astonishment, just about every single week they are all washed, put away and hung. Its a mind boggler!!

To be serious, I fully appreciate my wife’s efforts of getting the dishes and the clothes washed and put away so regularly - that I’ve never once over the last 6+ years needed to do it myself. Sure, I’ve helped with the dishes and laundry more than a few times, but on the whole Eliza is an incredibly hard working woman that deserves more praise than she receives.

So, Eliza - if you’re reading this thanks for keeping after me because I know I’m a slob. Thanks for working part time to help pay the bills and to pay every bit of our health insurance. These facts do not go unnoticed my darling, and you deserve to be applauded.
