Especially since I've gone without any responses from other blogs and Mac forums. I know there are no guarantees but my situation is so much like yours that it is all the encouragement I need for now, to at least plan the trek to Pittsburgh for now. I hate to say this over a piece of technology but I really love my iPhone. It has grown deep into both the salary and freelance parts of my career and I just didn't want to give up on it just yet. They gave me a new one with no questions asked. Something to keep in mind though, is that I told them exactly what was going wrong, then told them everything I had tried to get it to work. I think this made it very clear to them that I tried just about everything they would have tried, and so the Apple Genius decided not to waste my time with support, and just gave me a "new" one. I was reading that topic on your blog but can't seem to find and end or solution to it? My iPhone has worked perfectly until last week when I discovered nearly the same exact thing as your video had shown.
