WordPress 2.0.5

Lloyd catalogs the release of WordPress 2.0.5 RC by giving links to just about everywhere it has been mentioned so far. The most notable changes for me?

  • user description is no longer HTML-entity converted going into the database
  • plugins are sorted by plugin name, instead of filename
  • the authors dropdown is now sorted by display_name

There are several bugs that have been addressed as well, and those are important, but these little things have also annoyed me for awhile. Remember, this is currently a release candidate – a full release will be coming soon.
