What the Wii brought to gaming can not be denied. Movement, realism, and let’s face it – fun. Project Natal, for the Xbox 360, is going to attempt to do the same thing but with less hardware – meaning; absolutely no controllers.
What makes this project even more interesting is that the guy behind the 3D Wii interface is working with Microsoft on this one.
I like that Microsoft is doing more with the Xbox 360 and not just creating a new console system. The Xbox 360 is a great platform and I think it could serve as a great entertainment hub for still years to come.
E3 has been pretty interesting so far, with PS3 and XBox 360 both releasing their “Wii Killers.” It’s hard for me to get excited about these motion environments without actual hands-on experience, but if even half the things in the video are possible, it’s a pretty interesting product in the very least.
I agree. The stuff coming out of E3 this year appears to be mostly good. Looking forward to seeing this stuff on the market.
I’m so glad that E3 is back to normal. I remember all that talk last year about them cutting back or even canceling the show. The first preview of Natal was decent, but this version really goes into what is possible with a z-cam, voice recognition and community.
THIS MIGHT make me want to get another XBOX the problem is I personally don’t believe that the 360 can handle this. I work at UPS and we return 100 xboxes a week just at out store. So unless they come out with XBOX 720 and it is actually made correctly I might just wait. Other then that yes it looks Fin awesome!
