Dan Phiffer’s Web site

I am not even sure how I came across this site.  A few days ago I found myself browsing Dan Phiffer’s Web site and I have to say, it is probably one of the more innovative sites I’ve seen in a while.

There are some drawbacks, however: After visiting the site numerous times you kinda forget what you’ve seen and what you haven’t.  Subscribing to his feed is actually the feed to his blog powered by Tumblr.  And, some of the links from the front page have no way of getting back without clicking the back button on the browser or hacking up the URL.

But what this site lacks is made up for by the fun of actually playing with it.  Very cool.  Pushing the envelope. Kudos.

Hey, thanks for the write-up! Your critique is very relevant. Someday I’ll rebuild the thing with a little more attention to navigation and usability. Needs more hierarchy too, those little red arrows are too easy to miss.

Dan: Thanks for stopping by. Little red arrows? Perhaps that is your point. Also, some of your pages, like this one, are really great, but there is no way to get back to the main page. That is probably my main issue. Otherwise, I really like what you’ve done!
