Something I’ve not given much thought to in the past, but I will now, is if I’m linking to genuinely good things. I may only have 1,700 followers (as of this writing) but I do have a responsiblity to direct those that choose to click the links I tweet to things that are real, genuine, honest, and not scams.
On Retweeting
I just finished reading Stephen Fry’s thoughtful essay and strategy regarding Retweeting. If you are a Twitter user (like me) I suggest you give it a read. Most of us do not have 296,000+ followers as Steven Fry does (as of this writing), but we do have a responsibility for what we Retweet, link to, or generally support here online.
