It's most easily described as a "really save for later for really reading later" from Tweetie for iPhone, with the browser bookmarklet coming in at a close second. It's for those articles I know I won't find in my feed reader (for saving within) but really want to note for later because it doesn't make sense for me to read right then and there (usually on my phone). It's nice to be able to use the "Send to Instapaper" link in Google Reader, so I no longer have to keep marking things as unread to save them for later.
