Help me build the Viddler Lab

I’m building a complete developer resource, piece by piece, for developers that are interested in building on top of Viddler’s platform.  But, I can’t do it alone, so I’m asking fellow developers to help me build out a “developer resource roadmap”.

If you are a developer, whether or not you are interested in building an application, web site, or service using Viddler’s APIs.  Please chime in with some of your thoughts, if you have a moment.

Thanks in advance:

I have an idea! Get Andrew to design the Lab web site! By the way, I think the lab idea is great.

Maybe have a contribution section so people can browse a gallery of things people have built?

Chris: One of the first additions is going to be a Project Directory, so you are on the right track. And people will be able to manage their projects from their own Viddler account.

I’m sure once things calm down for Andrew, he can help with the design, but until then he has his priorities elsewhere!

I sent Rob Sandie a logo that you guys could use for the site. Was just messing around the one night in Photoshop, if he doesn’t have it, then I can email you a copy. Cheers!

Jacob: I have it. And I will be putting it on the Lab as soon as I have a free moment. Thanks!

Glad Rob passed it along to you. Guess I could have just emailed it to you. BTW, have you considered using Drupal for the Viddler Lab site? Back when I was helping with the SpreadFirefox initiative we used it to run that site. It allows for more community interaction and is great for project groups. If you do consider it, let me know. I’d be very excited to help you out with that. Cheers!
